Volunteer – Direct Assistance and Drivers
If you want to volunteer hands on with individuals with disabilities volunteering is perfect for you, we need volunteers to provide direct assistance to travelers as well as volunteer drivers.
Donate
Funding is also necessary in order to operate. Donations can be made online and will directly impact the travelers and make it possible for travelers to join activities regardless of financial situation.
Board of Directors
As a new organization we are still looking to grow our board of directors, if you feel that you could help with this please reach out for more information and requirements.
Businesses
In order to make our trips as low cost and accessible for travelers as possible we need support from local business, restaurants, museums, zoos, museums and more.
Volunteer – Direct Assistance for Travelers
If you are looking to volunteer and provide direct assistance for travelers you do not need any prior experience. You will receive training before hand and we follow the rule of 3’s so you are never alone with a participant for everyone’s safety. The minimum age to volunteer is 16 years old.
This role means that you will go on the trips and explore with the travlers. You will get to see new places while also providing a service to others.
When volunteering you roles could include but are not limited to the following tasks (if you do not feel comfortable preforming any tasks please let us know and we can help accommodate that).
- Pushing wheelchairs or guiding travelers
- Behavior Management
- Assist with toileting, communication, money management, etc.
- Assist travelers in transfers with the help of staff or volunteers
- Advocate for travelers

All volunteers are required to provide references and will receive a background check.
Volunteer – Drivers
If you are looking to volunteer and enjoy driving you can help us by volunteering to drive groups of travelers and volunteers to the activities. You do not need to have past experience with individuals with disabilities in order to volunteer. You will receive training before hand and we follow the rule of 3’s so you are never alone with a participant for everyone’s safety. The minimum age to volunteer as a driver is 18 years old.
You can volunteer as a driver and in direct assistance if you would like to do both.
A clean driving record in required for this role.
You will be compensated for gas and parking if you choose to do this role.

Donate
Financial support is crucial in order to accomplish our mission. Donations will be used for basic expenses, transportation costs, as well ask to create scholarships for travelers who normally wouldn’t be able to attend trips. Donations can be made online and will directly impact our travelers.
Board of Directors
As a new nonprofit we are still looking to grow our board of directors. You do not need to be a resident of PA and any meetings will be held over zoom. A one year commitment is required for this role. If you think you could help please reach out for more information.
Businesses
In order to make our trips as low cost and accessible as possible we need support from local businesses such as business, restaurants, museums, zoos, and more. If you would like to support our mission by hosing our travelers and volunteers or providing discounted rates please fill out our contact form.
How to Sign Up for a Trip
Once we have all of the required information you will be able to sign up for your first trip. To sign up for a trip please fill out the form below.
You will then receive a confirmation email with the trip details.
3-5 days before the trip you will receive an additional confirmation with finalized the time, and location as well as an itinerary of the day.
